1000 Islands RV DIRTcar Northeast Fall Nationals is Set to Roll into Brockville Ontario Speedway

One of the year’s most-anticipated motorsports events is coming-up fast.
The 2017 edition of the 1000 Islands RV DIRTcar Northeast Fall Nationals – a Craig Revelle Tribute – will take the green flag Friday and Saturday, October 13th and 14th at Brockville Ontario Speedway. 2 days of action. 8 divisions of wheel-to-wheel excitement on Eastern Ontario’s favourite 3/8th mile clay oval. After a thrilling regular season, The BOS is getting ready to spring back to life. Track owner and promoter Paul Kirkland says this year’s version will feature a different format than in previous seasons.
“We’ll run the DIRTcar Big Block Mod, Sportsman-Modified and Pro Stock Series shows, along with the Vintage Mods starting at 7:00 Friday,” Kirkland said. “Saturday will be the 358 Modifieds time to shine. Also on the docket will be an open event for 360 Sprint Cars, along with Street Stocks and Mini Stocks. The first green flag will be at 5:00, with time trials prior to both the Friday and Saturday dates. The Small Block and Sportsman Modifieds will be running the final events for this year’s Ogilvie’s Auto & Fleet Series.”
Kirkland says the Sprint Cars are back by popular demand and will take the place of the Late Models, while the Pro Stock division has been added to the roster for the first time in a number of seasons. The Northeast Fall Nationals is more than just a weekend of amazing racing. Its also a great party, with live entertainment on the Turn 4 Stage. Friday, from 2:00 ‘til 4:00, its Chuck D’Aoust of Runaway Cowboys and after the races, Healy & Orr. Saturday at 2:00, don’t miss Ambush and the Fall Nationals after the races party and bonfire, with the Will Scott Trio.
The top dirt track race teams from Ontario, Quebec, New York State, New Jersey and Pennsylvania may have their immediate focus on Super Dirt Week, but they’re also making plans for the Northeast Fall Nationals. Valuable Mr. DIRTcar Championship Trail points for 4 different divisions will be up for grabs, with titles for the Small Block, Sportsman and Pro Stock classes decided at The BOS.
