In First Year Box Stock Malcom Banks was the man to beat on this night. Banks took the lead at the drop of the green flag and never looked back leading all 10 laps in a caution free race. Rhylan Poole crossed in 2nd with Carter Bingley 3rd.
The 2nd year class was just as exciting as Lachlan Anderson was able to top the field in the 10 lap contest. Anderson took the lead from Lucas Comeau, then had to survive a late restart to claim the opening day win over Comeau with Keegan Elliott finishing 3rd.
The Rookie 1 division saw action all over the place during their 15 lap feature. Trey Lauzon was able to avoid all of that by jumping into the lead early on over early pace setter Blake Smith. Lauzon was able to fend off all challenges late in the race to secure thw win with Max Petro who battld early race problems to finish 2nd while Blake Smith crossed in 3rd.
In Rookie 2 Kalen Draper was the man to beat on this night but he would not have it easy as Lando Slinger and Brennan Moore were right there to challenge. Over the final laps Moore gave it all he had but Draper would hold on for the opening Day win over Moore while Landon Slinger crossed in 3rd.
The new Clone division was on hand on this night and Braxton D’Alessio, who was running double duty on this night would run away with the 15 lap event. At the finish D’Alessio had nearly a half track lead with Jordan Wood crossing 2nd and Rayna Wood making up the top 3.
Jr. Restricted saw 10 karts roar to life at the drop of the green flag and Jayden Comeau would take the top spot from outside pole sitter Braxton D’Alessio. Zack Renaud was on the move as he took 2nd from D’Alessio then would get by Comeau for the lead. Fro there Zack Renaud put it on auto pilot as he scored the big win with D’Alessio 2nd and Trent Wallace making a big move for 3rd at the line.
Stock light was exciting right down to the finish as Christopher Pryer was the driver to beat early on but Dylan Tinkler was right there to challenge. Tinklr would take the lead bringing Eric Castonguay to 2nd. A late yellow would decide the out come as Eric Castonguay made a big move on the restart to grab the lead and hold o for the win with Tinkler crossing 2nd and Ethan Bressard making a great move for 3rd at the line.
Stock Heavy would finish out the nigh and Randy Revelle was clearly the dominant driver as he ran away fro the field by over a straightaway in the opening laps. A late caution would fly setting up a 2 lap dash to the checkers. Revelle would hold off a late charge by Tim Bailey to secure his 3rd career win and first of the season with Bailey crossing 2nd and Brett Horner would fend off a charge fro Mark Greer to finish 3rd
Next week the karts are back in action with a full show, the green flag flys at 7pm.
