The action this past Wednesday night on the kart track at Brockville was exciting as always and with hot temperatures and a fast track, it made for a great evening.
In Box Stock First Year Rhylan Poole was the man to beat as he took the lead early from the driver who had been undefeated in 2017, Malcome Banks, and was looking to claim his first ever win. Poole would stay solid at the front of the pack and dominated to score his first ever win Max McBride would make a late charge to 2nd while Malcome Banks came home in the 3rd spot.
In the 2nd Year Box Stock Lachlan Anderson wasted no time taking the lead early on and would go on to dominate the 10 lap affair for his 2nd win in 3 tries over Lucas Comeau and Aiden Berry.
Barron Greer would be the dominant force in the Rookie 1 class as he charged out to a big lead at the start of the event. Grayson Reddick would close the gap late in the event but Greer would hold on for the win while Reddick and Max Petro would cross 2nd and 3rd.
Braxton D’Alessio loves to win and on this night he would keep his roll going as he dominated yet again in Clone while Jordan Wood would make his way to 2nd at the finish.
In Jr. Restricted Tyler Stewart would look to be the man to beat but Zach Renaud was on a mission to put last week behind him. After a rough night 1 week ago Renaud took the lead just past halfway and would march on to score his 2nd win in 3 events with Stewart crossing 2nd and Braxton D’Alessio rounding out the top 3.
Ethan Bressard would be the driver in charge in the 15 lap feature go but Xavier Perrin and Christopher Pryer would give him all he could handle all race long. On a restart with 3 to go Bressard got a great start and pulled away over the final laps to score his first ever Stock Light win with Pryer taking home 2nd and Xavier Perrin charging from 5th to end up 3rd at the checkers.
In Stock Heavy a major pile up in turn 4 and several early yellows allowed Randy Revelle to charge from 11th, dead last, to the lead by lap 3 and open up a commanding lead. On lap 5 Revelle lost it off turn 2 bringing out the yellow, he would return to finish 5th. When everything settled down Mark Greer would take over the lead and despite many late restarts Greer would not be denied as he became the 3rd different winner in 3 weeks in Stock Heavy. Raymond David would come home 2nd with former Street Stock driver Brett Horner crossing in 3rd.
Next Wednesday a full show of karting action will be set to take place with the first green flag of the night set to fall at 7pm.
