Since 2009 the Street Stock division has been a fixture at the DIRT Outlaw Apparel King Edward Auto Parts Fall Nationals with big fields of cars in attendance on an annual basis.

Thanks to Todd Raabe with Raabe Plumbing and Heating, the popular full fender division makes its return to the annual fall event at “The BOS” for the 11th time and the division has quite a history at the Nationals.

Steve Billings saw the checkered flag as the first ever champion of the Fall Nationals on October 18th 2009. Billings would hold off challenges from Brock Cullen, Kevin Fetterly Jr., Jason Fontaine and current Brockville DIRTCar Sportsman driver Kraig Handley on that day.

Last season Justin Ramsay continued the dominance of the Brighton Speedway regulars in the event, as he notched his second career DIRT Outlaw Apparel King Edward Auto Parts Fall Nationals checkered flag and, in the process, denied Adam Turner in his bid for a third consecutive Street Stock championship at the event.

Over the years at the Fall Nationals, a total of 115 different drivers have taken the green flag in a Street Stock feature race with Wade Purchase, Adam Turner and Justin Ramsay leading all drivers with two wins each. In 7 career starts, Ramsay also leads all drivers with 6 top five and 6 top ten finishes, which is the most of any driver in the history of the division.

Along with the return of the Street Stocks, the Fall Nationals will see a packed schedule on Friday and Saturday. Championships are on the line for the Ogilvie’s Triple Crown Series for the DIRTCar 358 Modified and DIRTCar Sportsman. Titles are also up for grabs with the DIRTCar 358 Modified and DIRTCar Sportsman series on the weekend as well.

Adding to the excitement, the Southern Ontario Sprint Car Series will close out their season and crown a champion, as will the Eastern Ontario Vintage Stock Car Club.  Also on the weekend card will be the PM Promotions DIRTCar Pro Stocks and the popular Mini Stock Invitational.

For the very first time, the STR Midgets from Quebec will take to the fast quarter mile oval. The division will become the 14th different class to compete at the Fall Nationals. Veteran Modified driver Pierre Hebert claimed the STR Midget track title in 2023 at Autodrome Drummond. Keven Hebert, Carl Brisebois, Jacob Nault and Carl Labonte will be among the many favorites in this year’s event.

A reminder to fans that Friday night, the DIRTCar 358 Modifieds will hold a special Fast Time Shootout, with $500 going to the driver who can lay down a quick lap. The 15th annual Fall Nationals will close up Saturday night with a fireworks display and the annual After Party
