A new season is about to get underway and the team at Brockville Ontario Speedway is committed to making the 2024 schedule a memorable experience.

With the Kirkland family marking the occasion of a 3rd decade of promoting the popular facility on Temperance Lake Road with a $30,000 season ending point fund in addition to the weekly purse payout, they’re also picking-up the cost of the driver’s pit pass in the headline DIRTcar Small Block Mod and Sportsman-Modified divisions, along with the support classes. Paul Kirkland says the program will start with a driver’s commitment to run the full year and continues throughout Saturday night racing during the regular season schedule.

Using a program introduced by Autodrome Drummond – a fellow DIRTcar Racing member facility – as its template, Brockville Speedway track owner Paul Kirkland will be following a platform that he hopes will see car counts increase across the board. This year’s schedule gets underway Saturday, May 11th and Kirkland says the track always has room for new racers.

On their first visit to the track during the 2024 schedule, drivers will pay the regular price for their pit admission but will also receive a pass for their next scheduled Saturday night race. If a driver misses an event, they will be required to once again pay the full pit admission fee to rejoin the program. Those who start late can utilize the program as well.

“We have some big plans for this year’s line-up and our goal is to put together a solid package for racers and fans alike,” explained Paul Kirkland. “These teams invest a lot of their own money to be part of our shows, while fans look forward to the weekly racing and special events we host throughout the season. We’re committed to doing our part to show them how much we appreciate their efforts.”

The 2024 schedule is slated to see its first green flag with the Surprenant Truck Shop Crate Sprints, DIRTcar 358 and Sportsman-Modifieds, Rookie Sportsman and Mini Stocks Saturday, May 11th.

Note new start time is 6 pm for the heat races!
