The Super DIRTcar Series returned to the Brockville Ontario Speedway for the first time since 2019 at the DIRT Outlaw Apparel Fall Nationals on Friday night and were greeted with a lightning fast race track which saw some great racing in the 100 lap contest.

The event started off with a four car tangle on the front stretch, which involved Bobby Herrington, Brian McDonald, William Racine and series regular Tim Sears Jr. All were able to pull away. Once the laps clicked off and the yellow flag went away Felix Roy took advantage of his pole starting spot with Mat Williamson and Eric Rudolph right there with him. On lap 6 Williamson took his number 88 to the front bringing Darren Smith, who set a brand new Brockville Speedway Modified track record, to the runner spot with Roy in hot pursuit. Once in the lead Williamson had a strong race car and was working traffic perfectly, but also on the move was Hopewell New York’s Alex Payne, who was looking for his third straight series win at The BOS. Payne would make a charge to the front from his 11th starting spot and closed in on the leader. On lap 40 Matt Sheppard would blow a right rear tire sending him pit side, but would later return, finishing out of the top 10 in a series race for the first time since 2006. Up front Payne continued to chase Williamson for the lead as Darren Smith, Mike Mahaney and Erick Rudoplh tried to close the gap. Payne would make it close at the finish, but Mat Williamson would not be denied scoring his first ever Big Block win at Brockville and 4th Series win of the year. Payne crossed in second ahead of Darren Smith, Mike Mahaney and Jack Lehner.

40 Mini Stocks came to the Brockville Ontario Speedway for the Friday night portion of the DIRT Outlaw Apparel Fall Nationals, but only 24 drivers made the show. Carl Gorry, who’s only appearance at Brockville this season resulted in a runner up finish, drew the pole and took the lead over former Brockville champion Jamie Larocque and Sebastien Beauregard. Gorry was fast and looked to have the race well in hand but behind him Beauregard and Mohawk track champion Emily Massy, were also charging forward. The race for the lead tightened up as traffic came into play on lap 14 allowing Beauregard to get to Gorry’s back bumper. On lap 16 Beauregard would take over the lead and begin to pull away as Gorry would fade to 9th at the finish. A late caution bunched up the field giving Christopher Proulx and Emily Massy a shot at the win. When the race resumed on the fast track, Sebasten Beauregard would pull away and was not to be denied as he scored his first Brockville win and first ever at the DIRT Outlaw Apparel Fall Nationals. Christopher Proulx, Emily Massy, Travis Lamarche and defending race winner Antoine Dumouchel would complete the top 5.

The 30 lap Surprenant Truck Shop Crate Sprints were up next and Lee Ladouceur would charge to the lead in the early going over Adam Turner and early pace setter Cam McKinnon. Ladouceur, who finished second on 7 occasions in 2025, was flying around the speedway, but drivers like 2022 champion Ryan Poole and Andrew Hennessy were also heading to the front of the field on a track that was still very quick, even after 100 laps for the big blocks earlier in the night. Only three cautions slowed the race, which allowed Adam Turner and Andrew Hennessy to get close to the leader. Once the race resumed Ladouceur continued his strong run pulling away to a straight away but Andrew Hennessy would take second and begin to reel in the leader. Hennessy would get to within a few car lengths but Ladouceur would finally break through to score his first win of 2025. Andrew Hennessy, Adam Turner, Ryan Poole and 2025 track champion Josh Verne Jr. would complete the top 5.

Sadly, the evening would be cut short as persistent rain moved into the area forcing the Eastern Ontario Vintage Stock Car Club features to be run at the beginning of Saturday’s program.

The action begins Saturday with hot laps and time trials for the DIRTcar 358 Modified and DIRTcar Sportsman Series at 3pm. The Vintage drivers will run their held over feature before the heat races for the regular scheduled program. Also on the card will be the Street Stocks and the final event of the season for the Eastern Ontario Vintage Stock Car Club. Entertainment kicks off the morning at 10:30am with Country Traditionz on the Party Stage. While Abby Stewart performs following the races later in the evening, to close out the DIRT Outlaw Apparel Fall Nationals Saturday night.
